SPEC-D holds rights to all media, photos, and content produced at our events. Failure to provide access to content for use upon request will result in denial of your applications / from future events.

Content taken at any Spec-D event posted online must meet the following criteria:

• We would love for photographs taken to feature the Spec-D watermark in one of the corners of the image, in addition to your own watermark. We understand this is not something everyone wishes to do and we respect that.
  • Being said, we would like to note that watermarking photos ensures that your hard work is not taken and miscredited to someone else, helps promote the event and your work as a photographer / videographer. We always value the work the media teams bring to our events and just want to ensure you get the recognition you deserve as well. 
  • Logos for event watermarks will be available usually a few weeks before an event, please see the Discord for the most up to date information, or as an alternative logos can be sent out with event information packages. 
• Use the collaboration feature / tag on social media as much as possible - Posts last forever, story tags disappear after 24 hours.
  • If using collaboration posts on Instagram, we will approve the requests as best we can. When this is done, your post shows up on our instagram page and gains you access to all of our followers - and the post stays up on the page for as long as you have the post on your account. (Subject to appropriate content throughout)
• Reels / videos / photos - tag the appropriate social media account (drivers included, driver sponsors if possible. A list of driver instagram profiles will be available near the date of each event.) 
• Photographs and video material can be used for blogs or personal social media accounts - please send us a link to your site or posting so we can share it with the rest of our followers / cross post it online.
• Refrain from posting any content of drivers or passengers with limbs outside the vehicle.
• In the event of an accident or collision on course, please do not rush out to the hot track! Let emergency crews and track staff deal with the situation at hand. 
• You may take photos of accidents or collisions - but before posting anywhere please get driver / Spec-D permission.

For print / reposting / online usage:

Spec-D would like digital archives of at least 10 - 20 of your best pieces of media to repost / reshare online and for use in social and in physical media.
Select media may be used in physical items such as books, autograph cards, calendars / other printed oddities - or digital media such as social media posts, website banners, website galleries and event posters (with credit to the original photographer where applicable unless otherwise specified - compensation can be negotiated for certain materials.

NEW for 2026
We are thinking of making an open media meld upload area. The concept behind this is anything you would like to share as a creator can be placed in this area and used with credit where used in the future. This may include in print, instagram posts, livestream content or much more. MORE DETAILS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON.
